The boys from Beantown are back, and this time they are back with a new independent label, in Side One. I would definitely Dicky and Co. have provided us Bosstones fans a better outing than their last. On this record, you get several of the band’s previous styles in punk, ska, reggae, and the ‘core of all three. The more I check the album out, it grows on me and gets better and better. Like in ‘Everybody’s Better’ the band shows off their reggae/ska stylings and then the complete opposite in the following track which I think is the best on the album in ‘Sugar Free’ with a great rock/ska mixture. Bosstones fans will enjoy the new album and appreciate that they are part of a select few still around brave enough to play skacore in the genre.

Bottom Line: Definitely
