Morgan Heritage, “the first family of reggae music,” starts off their new album with a bang in “Jump Around.” A great party reggae song that will be the anthem for them at shows I’m sure. “Jump Around if you really love reggae” is the chant and makes you want to jump around. Guest spots of the album include Anthony B, Junior Kelly and members of Good Charlotte. From international festivals, to the Warped Tour, Morgan Heritage brings their music to different audiences every night, and are embraced for trying new things. I first noticed MH on the Warped Tour and have loved them ever since. I like how they totally changed up the lineup of the tour and sound for the evening with more mellow songs and just a great atmosphere, a complete 180 from the punk, metal, and rock. Only a great band can achieve this and Morgan Heritage do it again on “Three In One.”
Bottom Line: When it’s released on 4/29, Go Buy it! and buy their older albums as well.
Notable Tracks: “Jump Around,” “The Truth,” “She’s Still Loving Me,” “Ah Who Dem.”
