This is Mourningstar’s debut album, and Falcom’s first band release. I believe their first release was the Global Punk Vol. 1 release. Atlanta’s Mourningstar play fast punk similar to Pennywise, Strung Out and bands like that so if you are trying to get an idea on how the band sounds like, just picture those bands but a little bit heavier. Everything sounds good about this band. The production of the Cd is great and that’s probably because they had Marc Mclusky (Nuclear Saturday) and Rodney Mills (Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, REM, Stone Temple Pilots) )produced and mix the album. Some songs are better than others but that’s how I feel about every Cd I review. Decent debut album though.

Bottom Line: Good heavy punk rock band from Georgia
Notable Tracks: “Ambience” “Jezebel” “Candarian Analog”
