Being the street team commando pays off when you help promote a tour for Big D and The Kids Table and MU330. The “Oh Yeaaaaa” tour is in support of their live album hits stores on April 9, 2001. I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy and it is by far the best MU330 Cd I have ever heard (I have heard them all). It includes a new song “Lincoln” which fits in perfectly with the other MU330 classics. This Cd is filled with songs all MU fans have heard before, but they sound nothing like they do on their original albums. Dan Potthast (vocals) says it best on the first track of the album when he says…… ” Are you ready to rock? Are you ready to rock ‘n roooolllllll?” If you aren’t ready to rock ‘n roll there’s no point in getting this album. It will be too intense for you. In my book, MU330 has always been placed in the genre of “psycho ska” and this album supports that label. The album begins with a fast paced, powerful, and punchy rendition of “Wide Awake” that busts right into “State-O-Mind”. The band takes no time to sit back and relax…….. you are sure to be kept on your feet while listening to this fine compact disc filled with the highest quality of musicianship. The album ends with the classic “Hoosier Love” but have no fear, there is a bonus track which will be kept under lock and key. All I can say is that it has to do with Gerry Lunquist (trombone) and the WCW/WWF! Even though the Cd was recorded live at a show in St. Louis you feel as if you are there. I urge you all to invite MU330 into your home and hope you let “Live……. Oh Yeaaaaa” grace your Cd players.
