Always good stuff coming out of these four west coasters. This is something like their tenth release, and it’s as good as ever. With “Coming Close” redone from Fat Music IV, and another version of the Pogues song “Fairytale of New York,” this album has great song after great song. They experiment with some violins and shit, but it all comes out good in the end. I am really falling in love with these guys’ music. The technical side to it all is astounding. These guys are definitely one of the most talented band out there today. Fourteen tracks in all, not one a disappointment. Personally, I still like Making Friends over this one, but I am not sorry I bought it (yes, I actually paid for a CD) in the least and would suggest anyone who is a fan to pick it up right away.
