So I’m not a huge metal fan, but I find that when I do listen to metal, I can figure out pretty quickly if I like it or not. Certain things I love about metal are the chugging guitar, the double kick pedal, and the breakdowns. Nodes of Ranvier have all of these. They’re heavy as shit, with a strong vocalist (or yeller – I mean, he doesn’t actually sing). The band are really tight, the songs are short and concise, and most of all heavy. If I knew more about metal or hardcore, I’d compare them to another band, but I don’t so I won’t. If you like heavy stuff, might as well try these guys. They’re heavy.

Bottom Line: I’m so metal. Grrrrrr. Actually, this is pretty solid.
