One song, eighteen minute and twentyone seconds long. Fucking animals, fucking insane, fucking awesome. You take your pick, but either way, these guys have jumped to a whole new level. This song epitimizes the decline of civilization from the beginning of “modern society.” The only thing that can sum it up is a line, verse, whatever it is: “And so we go on with our lives We know the truth but prefer the lies Lies are simple Simple is bliss Why go against tradition when we can Admit defeat live in decline Be the victim of our own design With status quo built on suspect Why would anyone stick out their neck Fellow members of club ‘we got ours’ I’d like to introduce to you our host He’s got his and I’ve got mine Meet DECLINE.” With a trombone Lars Nylander, some crazy riffs/ changes/ progressions, and incredible examples of technical skill, this is one of the best samples of punk rock I have ever heard from anyone past, present, and quite possibly future.
Bottom Line: It’s definitely worth buying. Two whole discs of NOFX songs? Sure your attention span isn’t that lon
