You know what? Fuck Nothington. Here’s why. A couple of the members were in the above-average punk band Tsunami Bomb, and according to their press release, “…it was just the success story that seemed too good to be true… And just as things seemed like they couldn’t possibly get better, the spring of 2006 saw Tsunami Bomb brought to an abrupt end with the group disbanded and tied up in litigation.”

Dammmn… Fuck.. Shit… What the fuckin shit? I don’t even like Tsunami Bomb all that much, but to dance on the grave of your previous band is just totally uncool. Especially if that previous band was a lot better and not a complete and utter Husker Du clone like Nothington.

So Nothington, listen up – if you want to sound like Husker Du, good luck. Not many people like Husker Du to begin with, so to copy that sound not only brings apathy from the general public, but annoyance from those in the know. And to bash your previous band, the reason why you even have a new album out, is super unclassy. And this is coming from a guy who is 24-7 drunk and hates everything. So change your sound or get a new PR company, cuz you guys sound like fools.

Bottom Line: Fuck Nothington.
