This EP is just six songs long. This EP is just six songs long. This EP is just six songs long.
Oh No Not Stereo has a mainstream rock sound and with the exception of the annoying Ted Leo-esque vocals, this EP would have been a really good listen. The grooves and the guitar riffs/solos were there and their overall sound was tight and focused. Sometimes it was a little too focused as a few songs came off sounded overproduced. In the end, Oh No Not Stereo ended up sounding like a well-polished garage band. I didn’t know if they wanted to sound like the All American Rejects or the Strokes. They didn’t end up sounding like either one.
Bottom Line: Shiny, happy, radio-friendly rock music.
Notable Tracks: One More Thing I Love, Every Link In The Chain
