Bass-heavy and rhythm-forward alternative rock that could be reminiscent of Primus or Faith No More if the songs were better and the female vox played along. Unfortunately, the singer’s delivery, which ranges from breathless-in-a-smoky-jazz-club to overdramatic-on-Broadway to peppy-pop-tart never fits the music. In fact, it’s very distracting.
If the Passive Aggressives were better, they would sound like a decent 90s alternative band or at least a good bar rock band, neither of which is such a grand goal anyway.
