Pipedown play a charged, frenetic punk with some hardcore breakdowns and metal riffing. The music is downright awesome.

Unfortunately, their lyrics are of the hopeless idealist variety, and hearing some young well-dressed white kids sing about tearing down factories gives me intestinal cramping. However, Pipedowns music does rock my ass.

Bottom Line: If you like: Anti-Flag, Pennywise, dropping Howard Zinn into every conversation
