Plastic Parachute are based out of a little town in Oklahoma but now are located in Los Angeles. Good move I think! They play power pop music and featuring a cute female singer with a good voice. Apparently they have had their music played on MTV and CBS, as well in Jeep/Chrysler commercials. I guess I can see that, but I’m sure I haven’t heard their stuff over in commercials. Maybe since I never watch commercials anymore. Their music is fun to listen at times, and then sometimes it’s not my cup of tea. Shiny Toy Guns comes to mind when listening to Plastic Parachute.

Bottom Line: A decent power pop band!
