Man oh man. Very unfortunate what’s become of the Queers. Gone are the catchy pop punk, the surfy harmonies, the cute songs about teenage love, the lighthearted toilet humor.

Joe Queer – now with two new members and an occasional guest appearance by Wimpy – is in some bitchy mood. Every ranting, forgettable song seems to be an outlet for his bitterness. If there’s any humor here it’s mean-spirited and not very clever.

As a longtime Queers fan through all their different lineups, it’s disappointing and sad to see them now travel down this angry, lonely road.
