Ralph Jones Band is interesting – they bounce between alt-folk and indie-pop but in a math rock framework. While alt-folk tends to be sparse, the RJB have a jazzy and lush atmosphere. Part of their success is their good use of various percussion and other instrumental elements, but they also have a great ear for putting it all together in a straight-forward and accessible way. Not bad. Not bad.
