For those of you who hated Rancid’s catchy “Let’s Go” and “And Out Come the Wolves” albums, and their entry to the hit game show Who Wants to Sound Like the Clash (“Life Won’t Wait”), you might like this new one. It’s their fastest, punkest one yet, reminiscent of their first and also self-titled album.

Personally, I like their catchy albums best, and find this one subpar to their previous releases. Boring songwriting and too self-consciously punker-than-punk. And someone kindly pat Matt Freeman on the back and tell him to never sing again.
