Ah, the Readymen. There’s a name I haven’t heard in a million years. They were a 90s ska band, from Canada I think, that played fast and fun early Rudiments / early Suicide Machines-style skapunk. This album serves as their collected discography.

At first glance, I wondered why anyone would care about this little-known band, but after hearing their music again, it would be a shame if anyone didn’t. Lots of “hup-hup’s” and “pick it up’s” and they never sounded better. Even if you haven’t heard their stuff before, this collection will make you nostalgic for those fun ska days of your youth.
