At first, I didn’t like the Real McKenzies, since the bagpipes made me want to shove one up their kilts, but Out & Aboot quickly became one of my favorite McPunk albums, thanks to its instant catchability.

Now the RMs have half-slid back into annoying territory, but it may be that I need to give this more spins. I don’t strongly dislike the album, but unless it grows on me soon it’ll probably gather dust. A couple of songs did stand out – check out “Pour Decisions” and “Best Day Until Tomorrow.”
