I’m not really a big fan of the Skatalites and this type of ska, reggae, rocksteady. That’s because I think it gets to jazzy and in my opinion, boring. I know they were the pioneers of ska but this Cd just doesn’t do it for me. It’s good background music or something to talk over on our radio show, but to listen to normally, it’s not my cup of tea. The songs I liked though were “From Russia with Love,” “Dr. Ring Ding,” and I love the ska version of “James Bond theme.” So there’s some good old ska on here, just for me it gets boring after awhile.
