NJ DIYers bring their long awaited debut record, and it’s something to be proud of. Rising from the mix of generic ska bands coming from the area, The Royalties bring a great traditional record. The other day, I was listening to the Ska Parade on the internet and I heard a song that sounded like the Bluebeats, it turns out it was this band. I was surprised, since I never saw them live. Choice cuts from the album are “Jabberwocky,” “Avoid the Crime,” and “Oh please.” Support this band because not many bands out there are DIY.
