I had in my mind that Scars of Tomorrow were one of the better metalcore bands, but this album is a mess. Very uninspired metalcore that borders on bad, inept metal.

Other than being aggressive, there’s not much point here. The songs aren’t engaging, there’s no good rhythmic groove to carry the tunes, and the guitars are a wash of bass-heavy distortion. The vocals aren’t terrible but they have nothing to say. There’s just growly voice and wussy voice, neither with much passion.

Aggression on its own can get boring. There needs to be technical wizardry, interesting melodies or rhythms, or just a sense of purpose to keep your attention. They’re all sadly missing on this album.
