I get a lot of crap like this, whether it be singer/songwriter or ballady pop rock from some unsigned shmo or shmo-ette. I get so much of it, I’ve all but stopped reviewing it. I mean, what more can I say about contrived lyrics sung breathlessly over canned rock beats and sappy piano?

Here’s where I would then say, “but Shaan Sharma is different. He breaks through boundaries and elevates singer/songwriter pop to new levels via his musical mastery and sheer brilliance.” But I’m not, because it’s not true. This shit is just the same anything else. Sure, it’s musically proficient and pleasant-sounding, but so is anyone who has a decent voice and knows the basics of acoustic guitar or piano.

I’m a busy guy, I don’t have time for this corny ball-less garbage. You either rock out or you get the fuck out of my face.

But I do like that his name is Sharma cuz it makes me hungry for lamb on a spit.

Bottom Line: Cornier than my poop after fiesta night at Mama Mexico.
