Powertrio rock band, from New Jersey, that sounds like a really good bar band. Not exactly my “bag of tea,” but I am sure lots of people from the area are into it. With the new fad in Emo, Shades Apart were around before that all started. Working with the Descendents on their last two records shows they are in it to be the best they can. The band definitely has that Jersey sound to it, because it sounds like they play all the time at one of those bars along the shore like Stone Pony or Brighton Bar. Anyway, a good band but not my style.
