The Skints are like Londons answer to Streetlight Manifesto.

They like to mix styles aroundfrom reggae to two-tone to skacoreusually within the same song. Their songs usually push the four minute mark and usually this is a good thing, but it feels like some of their songs carry on with the a repetitive loop for a little longer than they should.

The Skints self-titled release is a good listen if youre a fan of various forms of ska (you get a taste of just about all of them in six songs), and is definitely worth the time to check these guys out. Only being half a dozen songs long, its hard to really put your finger on the true sound of the Skints.

Bottom Line: The Skints embody the ska sound. Which sound in particular is the hardest part to figure out?
Notable Tracks: Murderer, Misunderstood
