I like the Slackers, but only when they sing. I don’t dig the instrumentals tunes, which the album starts off with. The song “Old Dog” is good until it starts getting redundant and annoying with the chorus. “Axes” is a better song and is a mix of soul and ska which I like. This is their 7th album and I think their Cds get better with every release. Though if I had to chose which was my favorite album, I’d chose “The Question.” When I think of ska music, this is one of the bands I think of and not the ska punk stuff. This is the true form of ska. They stick to their roots and have a flavor of ska, reggae, rocksteady and soul. Another great CD from the Slackers.

Bottom Line: Yeah I would get this probably.
