Brooklyn based tradska band, the slackers are back and this time with a live album. The Slackers are known for encouraging trading of their concert bootlegs. They even switch up their sets to provide fans with different shows, then the usual routine set most bands provide today. This concert was recorded at Ernosto’s in the Netherlands. I was surprised how good the quality of the show was. I have to admit I was generally not a big fan of their’s but in recent years, I have been able to catch a show of their’s and I was impressed. They play the traditionalreggaeskacalypso which gets you moving. This album is proof of that. Songs that I enjoyed on here were “Keep Him Away,” “Married Girl,” “Face in My Crowd,” and “Runaway.” If you love traditional ska music, you have to check this one out.
