Awesome movie and an excellent soundtrack featuring a variety of music. Bands or Musicians like James Brown, Junior Murvin, Dusty Springfield and Ocean Colour Scene. A great bonus in this soundtrack is the clips from the movie. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, your definitely missing out. Getting back to the music, Ocean Colour Scene start the Cd great with a rockin’ opening song called “Hundred Mile High City.” “Police and Thieves” is a smooth reggae song done Junior Murvin, The Clash also do this song on their first CD. The reason why I like this so much is because of the variety of songs but the best songs on here I think are done the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. Songs “The Boss” and “The Payback” are great soul tunes and I can see why Kaye and Neil (Producers of CD) added these tracks in the movie because it fit the scenes. Other tracks that I loved were “Why Did you Do It” Stretch, a great jungle kind of a song called “Walked This Land” the EZ Rollers was a surprising song that I liked. Another great song on here that I liked is a song called “Zorba The Greek” John Murphy and David Hughes. The last song (18 with a Bullet Pete Wingfield) is a soul song and it ends the movie and CD just right. If you’ve seen the movie and liked the music that was playing in the background, GET THIS SOUNDTRACK…I CAN’T STOP LISTENING TO IT!!x
