Man oh man, this soundtrack is the CD of the month, since January. I’ve listened to this CD every week since I got it on Napster. It has a variety of genres on here, and it’s got the Special’s ” Ghost Town” on here too! Guy Ritchie really knows his music. Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrel’s soundtrack was great but I think this one is better. The best song on here far is “Golden Brown” the Stranglers. The keys on that song are awesome and it’s just a terrific song. There’s some awesome Jungle, Techno songs on here like Klint’s “Diamond,” Overseer’s “Supermoves” and the best techno song is Mirwais’s “Disco Science.” It’s the song in the movie when the Dogs are chasing the Rabbits, and the thugs chasing after the big hefty fella. It’s also in the new Victoria Secrets commercial. Also on this disc, there’s lots of great R & B, reggae and Motown songs. Guy Ritchie has a great taste in music. The best song out of those genres is (song playing during the Credits), “Don’t You Just Know it” Huey “Piano” Smith and The Clowns. John Murphy did the score for Lock Stock and Snatch, and his one track on here is “Hava Nagila” and it’s excellent. I feel like dancing around the room screaming “HEY!” When it’s playing. I wish they would release a separate Cd of just John Murphy’s stuff because his music is really good. Other great tracks on here are Madonna’s “Lucky Star,” Vinnie Jones from the movie talking about balls, and “Hot Pants” Bob Bird. This is a terrific soundtrack and if you liked the movie you’d probably like this Cd.
