Crunchy radio rock with that nu-metal-ish downtuned lameness. I’m somewhat insulted that the album is called Audio Alchemy, as if they’ve concocted some amazing new sound in their secret underground laboratory-bunkers. Alas, they’re playing that on that same awful commercial ground between today’s metal and yesterday’s grunge. And they’re not playing it very well. The big, chunky riffs are uninspired, and their only deviation from hard rock crappiness are a couple of boring, indulgent tunes that incorporate Sabbathy psychedelia (barf).
Bottom Line: Awful neo-grunge rock.
