Statues is an Ontario powerpop-punk band, and this album isn’t bad! The band has had 2 full-lengths and various EPs and 7 inches released. “Terminal Bedroom” is a CD compilation of all the EP, 7″ tracks, and other goodies. The songs are from “Same Bodies, Same Faces,” 7″ “Crooked Fingers, Broken Hands” 2×7″ EP. Punk rock fans might recognize the song “Dead or Alive,” which is a cover of GG Allin. If there are two bands that remind me of Statues, it’s The Buzzcocks and One Man Army. So if you think that sounds good, Statues is your band. Obviously they aren’t as good as those bands, but you get the idea.
Bottom Line: If you like the Buzzcocks, check out Statues from Canada!
Notable Tracks: Pinpoint, No Time
