Pretty good new offering from singer/songerwriter Mark Kozelek. He’s the dude who put out the highly unnecessary acoustic AC/DC cover album. But without that baggage, you can enjoy hearing him do what he does best – melancholy folk with some alt-country and grunge thrown in. It’s a quiet album and not for everyone, but it’s better than a depressing, crooning ballad version of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.
