I just don’t get the appeal. Cheesy music, cheesy falsetto vocals… it’s music that sounds like a middle-aged guy trying to write emo pop. Which I guess that’s what it is. Or maybe I’m just not intellectual enough to comprehend such genius. In any case, this is a handful of new songs, plus insulting covers of the Pogues, Split Enz, and the Jam. At least he likes good bands…
