These guys are trying to bring back the hard rockin’ sounds of Motley Crue and other hair metal bands. They do so in a somewhat modern mallpunk way, but thankfully without sounding like 14-year-olds. The only problem is that the vocalist doesn’t pull it off. He has range and a non-whiny voice, but he’s completely bereft of energy. In fact, the dude sounds downright drained, like he went into the studio after a full day’s work at the No-Doz factory.

The songs also feel long and the lengthy, frequent ballads don’t help matters. There are two or three catchy songs (that can be catchier with more energized vocals), but the rest is a bog.
