I always like listening Oi! music but I just never listen to it as much as I used to. Perhaps the Last Resort will make me want to listen to some classic Oi! bands like The Business, Cockney Rejects and Anti-Nowhere League, and begin listening to the Last Resort. The band was formed in 1980 and only really together for a year or two. But they were considered legendary for some reason. The band played festivals on & off and things like that but it finally seems the band is getting their stuff together. 14 brand new tracks in total!

The Last Resort consists of “Jonesy” on drums, former Anti-Nowhere League members JJ Kaos (bass) and Beef (guitar), and then there’s Roi on vocals. Judging from their photos, they are quite the intimidating bunch so I better not say anything bad. Not like I was going to anyway; there’s no reason to say anything bad about Last Resort! The band sounds great, and I can’t think of a bad song on here. Each song is a skinhead anthem, but this album isn’t just for skinheads! I’m not a skin so….People who love old school British Oi! and punk rock will love this band (if you don’t already). I never heard of Last Resort but now I do!

Bottom Line: Skinhead anthems galore!
