Washboard rock n roll from California with swamp boogie vocals! Actually, I can barely hear the washboard. Maybe it’s the noise in the background. They also have a cowbell in there somewhere. I was wondering if I was going to hear an old lady on there, start ringing the cowbell screaming “Boys!!! Supper! Come n’ Get it!” The vocals and the overall sound of the band is very raw and they sound like a bar band to me. Actually I’ve heard some better bar bands than Throw Rag. Maybe it’s the recording of this Cd that’s making me dislike them. Or it could be the sound of the band, It’s just not something I would listen to.
