I think this is what the Beach Boys did. Like have an unplug live session with a bunch of their friends, doing acoustic covers and songs. The Travoltas pull this off without a hitch and the songs make you clap your hands and sing along. After I got the Travoltas’ “Endless Summer” last year, I’ve been a big fan and think the track “One for the Road” is one of the catchiest songs I’ve heard in a long time. They cover some newer songs like “That Thing You Do” from that Tom Hanks movie, they actually cover Bad Religion’s “Sorrow.” I think it’s a little early to be covering that one guys. Plus some other goodies they thrown in there. If you like the Travoltas or some clap along, sing along Beach type songs, than pick this album up. You won’t be disappointed.
