It’s been awhile since Trevor Rabin scored something but every time he does, I really dig his music. Rabin is a former member of YES and has done lots of Bruckheimer movies. The National Treasure score fits the movie well, and adds a sense of adventure and coolness to the film. I’ve heard mixed reactions to the movie but I thought it was entertaining and fun to watch on a boring Sunday afternoon. Granted it’s not all accurate and believable but what movie is these days. I think this score is probably one of my favorites from Rabin. Sometimes his music gets too computerized and electronical for my taste but not here. If you like Trevor Rabin’s previous work, National Treasure is worth checking out.

Bottom Line: The Score is fun, just like the movie.
