I don’t know about you but this music is pretty damn boring. All it is talking, talking, talking, and even more talking. Aren’t there other members in the band that ACTUALLY play an instrument!! No seriously, this is a audio book that was written by Tripp Underwood from the Boston punk band, The Unseen. So instead of buying a book and reading it, all you lazy shits out there can hear Tripp reading his book to you. I think having someone read to you on a CD is boring, and not all that exciting. Especially since I have a short attention span and skip a lot of tracks for many CDs. The only type of audio book I’d listen to would be from George Carlin, because at least he’d be telling funny jokes.
I’d rather read this book because then I can go at my own pace, so when I lose track every minute; I can go back and read that sentence again. But hearing this album might help me out with that, it’s just I honestly don’t want to listen to this. I don’t really care about his band’s life, and don’t think the Unseen are all THAT important enough in the scene for a book. I think they are a good punk band, I just don’t think they deserve a book just yet. Dig up the Ramones and have them record an audio book and then maybe I’ll listen to that. But for now, this audio book is for fans of the Unseen and the band’s history and tour stories. Others will just be bored and not caring as much.
Bottom Line: ‘m looking forward to the cliff notes.
