A short album (13 songs in 26 min) of snappy, off-kilter ditties. Unlike a lot of “quirk rock” bands, T&HT thankfully don’t act obnoxiously wacky.
The songs, although breezy and straight-forward, aren’t terribly memorable. This album feels like a compilation of jokey, throwaway b-sides.
Like the Chicago-style pizza that they love, they need more time in the oven.
Bottom Line: Not ridiculously goofy, but also not very good.
