New albums by classic awesome bands are a tricky business, but this album is top notch. It’s all here – the humorously un-PC lyrics, the hair metal flair, and the funny-so-it’s-forgiven sleaze.

But what makes Turbonegro so awesome are the monster riffs and the tight catchy songwriting that bring to mind Motley Crue, Johnny Thunders, and the Dwarves having a circle jerk.

Just about every song on here is a bonafide hit. There are a lot of highlights: the 80s metal guitars on “We’re Gonna Drop the Atom Bomb,” the punk n’ roll meets AC/DC “Hell Toupee,” the Richard Hell-ish “I Wanna Come,” the high-octane “You Must Bleed / All Night Long,” and lots more. The entire album is a good time.
