While a lot of today’s hip bands exploit 70s rock for kitsch value, UBS wears the influences on their sleeve in earnest. Their sound is a little bluesy, like Led Zep or the southern classic rock bands, but they don’t strut around. The vocals have a 60s pop feel, which smoothes out and sweetens their 70s bar rock sound.
