a compilation filled with just woman singers and groups. I think this Cd is great. Lots of dancable reggae and jamaican ska. Some of these ladies are less known and some are major female artists who all recorded at some point at Studio One. I haven’t really heard of any of these female reggae singers but they all have beautiful voices. Nana Mclean sings “Don’t Worry About Me” for the first song on the Cd. The original version of “Feel Like Jumping” is the third track and that’s done Marcia Griffiths. I thought Bad Manners did it originally but I guess that shows how much I know about ska. Other notable songs were ” Feel So Good,” Denise Darlington, “Sea Puss and Bammie” Little Audrey, and “Whisper To Me” Cecile Cambbell. If you like studio one stuff, then you might like this because I did.
