Props to the Vandals for the great of idea of having a Japanese noise guy remix Vandals tracks. The remixes are incredibly imaginative and the tracks are nearly unrecognizable from the original.

The bad thing about the CD is the majority of tracks are from their last two studio albums, which I didn’t find that strong. But the good thing is that those tracks are improved upon by the remixes. It’s a bit hard to describe the remixes themselves, though I like the press kit’s reference of a pachinko machine. This is indeed bright, flashy, hyperkinetic, candy-coated and cute. Fun stuff!
