Follow up to Reggae Christmas from Studio One, featuring newly recorded tracks from The Silvertones, Jimmy Tucker, and J.D Smoothe to name a few. Also, some classic Christmas songs from Toots & The Maytals, and Bob Marley and The Wailers. As much as I love reggae music, its not the best genre for associating itself with christmas music. When I think of reggae music, I picture warm climates, sunny beaches, and big beautiful women. That being said though, Christmas is celebrated in all climates. The songs are very good and make you hear some classic Xmas songs in a different style like Bob Marley’s version of “White Christmas,” or Roy Richards “Jingle Bells.” Pick this one up if you love christmas and reggae music to bring in the new year.
Bottom Line: Great reggae christmas cd
Notable Tracks: I hate typing the whole track out, so I’ll give numbers instead. #13, #9, #1, #2
