The sequel to the very impressive cheapo comp from Hellcat. I think there isn’t as many good bands on this comp. as the first one. Dropkick Murphy’s start the cd off with “The Gang’s All Here.” Hepcat does another brilliant rocksteady song called “Riding The Region” and they also appear on Dave Hillyard’s Rocksteady 7 song “The Fool,” which is another good song. Rancid is yet another band to be on the list for bands that covered “The Kids Are United.” They still do a great job with the song and is probably one of the best versions out there that I heard, along with 7 Seconds. The Pietasters are on this album again and they chose to put “I Can’t Stand It” on this cd but I think they should have put “Yesterday’s Over” instead. There’s like 4 bands that have reggae artists filling in for punk bands and it just sounds weird. The best one I thought was Buju Banton singing for one of them but I only liked half of that song because it got annoying and just didn’t fit. Other tracks I liked was The Slacker’s “Have The Time,” “Life Won’t Wait” Rancid with Buju Banton, and “Goin’ Out,” the U.S Bombs. Overall, I didn’t like this Cd as much as the first one but it’s still a decent cd in and of itself.x
