I’m not really a fan of Riddim Driven CDs but there is some occasional standout tracks that I hear on various Riddim CDs. It’s something about hearing the same beat on each track that turns me off. Though it is interesting to see how each artist turns that beat into their own. Some of the artist featured on this CD are Elephant Man, Wayne Marshall, Degree, Zumjay, Danny English and Nicky B. I’ve only heard of Elephant Man though.

The beat that all the artist use is an up-tempo beat, with some added computerized synth 80’s sound it seems. Sometimes the songs get annoying and I have to skip to the next track but overall, I liked some of the songs on here. I’d rather just listen to full length reggae/dancehall CDs with different beats to them.

Bottom Line: I generally don’t like Riddim Driven Cds but this one was okay.
Notable Tracks: It Sweet Me, No Man Curse
