Rocksteady and reggae oldies from Treasure Isle. Some tracks are unreleased or alternate takes. Most of these songs are the label’s favorites. Some of the bands or artists on here that stood out are Alton Ellis, The Techniques, the Melodians, and Justin Hinds. I noticed some of these tracks have been covered like ‘I Can’t Hide” Ken Parker, I remember the Specials doing that tune on one of their newer releases. Purchase this comp. if you like the older reggae and rocksteady stuff.
