Brand new Volume 3 in a great series taking a look at Roots Reggae and featuring many new artists in the genre. Universal Message is about the new breed of Reggae artists preaching peace, freedom and equality to a new group of people, through artists like I Wayne, Morgan Heritage, Sizzla, Capleton, Bushman, and Chuck Fender. Some tracks are on the individual’s albums but some groups like Morgan Heritage are releasing new tracks like “Uncomfortable,” which is just plain awesome and I look forward to their new album in ’05.

Bottom Line: Outstanding compilation featuring today’s best in roots rock reggae.
