The unfortunately named Vicious Delite is one of Stephen Pearcy’s post-Ratt projects. VD has a stripped-down hard rock sound, without the ballads, solos, excessive musicianship, and cheesiness. I wouldn’t call it punk, but it does try to be edgier than your average post-glam band without resorting to a heavier branch of metal.
