This collection of out-of-print EP tunes and compilation tracks from this fairly new band would be completely and utterly unessential if the music wasn’t so damn good. The Virus are one of the handful of current street punk bands that aren’t eye-rollingly lyrically repetitive and musically derivative. The Virus prove that street punk can still be interesting, fun, and relevant.
