Admittedly, I never liked Weezer, though I do like that one video where they’re throwing the monkey through the air. But now I like them even less. It’s like they said, “Hey, let’s do a ROCK album! You know, like really put in guitar solos and stuff, it’ll be funny!” And they did.

But it doesn’t rock because it’s all contrived and done ironically. That’s freakin’ weak, man.

Bottom Line: Bring back the monkey.
